Amy just finished her artist in residency workshop in reverse glass painting, for the University of Nebraska’s ROOTS program. The puppet theatre SWAZZLE presented DREAMCARVER, a bilingual musical based on the book, written by Diana Cohn and illustrated by Córdova. The event took place at the grand LIED Theatre, in downtown Lincoln. Over 1400 children attended !
SWAZZLE presented two DREAMCARVER performances at Popejoy Hall in Albuquerque, where Cordova gave a Q and A session with elementary school students. She was joined by Swazzle’s Kevin Noonchester to engage with young children in a conversation about creativity and inspiration. Again, over 1000 children were in attendance.
On December 10th, Córdova will give a talk at the HEARD MUSEUM, in Phoenix, AZ. She is part of a traveling art / illustrator’s exhibit, CUENTOS POPULARES, which is currently being shown at the HEARD.
